AFTPA Congratulates Bob Harvie on PA-01 Primary Election Victory

PENNSYLVANIA – Yesterday, Bob Harvie won the Democratic Primary for Congress in Pennsylvania’s First Congressional District. Harvie will now face Republican Brian Fitzpatrick in the General Election. The AFT Pennsylvania Executive Council endorsed Bob Harvie in April.

In response, AFT Pennsylvania President Wendy G. Coleman issued the following statement:

“AFT Pennsylvania offers our utmost congratulations to Bob Harvie on his Primary Election victory. Bob’s decades as a public school teacher and his dedication as a public servant on the Bucks County Board of Commissioners demonstrate his commitment to the communities he serves, public education, and working Pennsylvanians. We know that Bob Harvie is the right person to serve in Congress for PA-01, and AFT Pennsylvania looks forward to supporting his campaign.”
