For AFTPA's next installment of our monthly Union Leadership Training series, we will be joined by AFT's Assistant Political Director Denis McLaughlin. This training will give union members a practical overview of how strong electoral campaigns are built and won, covering the core pillars of worksite organizing, canvassing, digital outreach, phones, and mail. Participants will learn how unions identify targets, build member-to-member programs, develop activists, deploy COPE resources, and coordinate with the AFL-CIO and allied partners. By the end, members will see how each piece fits together to move voters, build power, and win elections.
